At Église Assemblée des Saints, we stand firmly on the unchanging truth of God’s Word. Our faith is built on the authority of Scripture, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit at work within every believer. We are committed to living out the Gospel with integrity, obedience, and love as we grow in Christ and fulfill His mission. These foundational beliefs guide our worship, our service, our relationships, and our responsibility to represent Christ in everything we do.

What We Believe

  1. We believe all Scripture is inspired by God and is our final authority for life and faith (2 Tim 3:16–17).

  2. We believe God alone is Creator and Ruler of the universe, deserving all love and obedience (Revelation 4:11).

  3. We believe all people have sinned and turned away from God (Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23–24).

  4. We believe that sin leads to physical and spiritual death (Romans 6:23a).

  5. We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—one God in three persons (Matthew 28:19).

  6. We believe we are saved by turning from our own way and believing in the redeeming sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:13).

  7. We believe God can use anyone—male or female—for His glory (Galatians 3:28).

  8. We believe salvation is a gift of grace, not earned by works (Ephesians 2:8–9).

  9. We believe in justification, regeneration, and new birth through faith in Christ, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:1; Titus 3:5–7; John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 3:9).

  10. We believe in sanctification through faith in Christ, the Word, and the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:2; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–7; Hebrews 13:12–14).

  11. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49–53; Acts 1:8).

  12. We believe in water baptism by immersion for all who repent and believe (Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9–10; John 3:22; Acts 8:36–38).

  13. We believe in the gift of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4; 10:44–46; 19:1–7; John 15:26).

  14. We believe in the Lord’s Supper and the washing of the saints’ feet (Luke 22:17–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

  15. We believe in the premillennial second coming of Christ—first to gather His saints, then to reign for a thousand years (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:15–17; 2 Thessalonians 2:1).

  16. We believe in bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked (John 5:28–29; Acts 24:15; Revelation 20:5–6).

  17. We believe in tithing and giving as acts of worship and obedience to God (Genesis 14:18–20; Malachi 3:10; 2 Cor 7:6–9; Luke 10:42; Hebrews 7:1–21; 1 Corinthians 16:2).

  18. We believe all have sinned, and repentance is necessary for forgiveness (Romans 3:23–24).

  19. We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified, buried, risen, ascended, and now interceding for us (John 3:16; 1 John 2:1).

  20. We believe marriage is ordained by God as a sacred union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Hebrews 13:4).
